no salt added cottage cheese?

After some initial skepticism, I became a big fan of the Friendship Dairy no salt added cottage cheese. Unfortunately, my local Whole Foods (Venice) no longer carries it and I haven't spotted it anywhere else. Has anyone seen it recently, either at a different Whole Foods or another grocery store (Westside preferably)? Thanks.

You should ask your local Whole Foods to order this cheese for you, usually they are very good about satisfying customers requests, at least they did it for me a few times with different items

I have been looking for something like this. How does it taste? Many people don't realize that most cottage cheese has more salt than potato chips!

Right - I eat a lot of cottage chese, but the sodium content is higher than I'd like. The flavor of this one is pretty neutral, which kind of threw me off at first. Vaguely like ricotta. it grew on me.

Here's a link to Friendship Dairies' "Where to Buy" page which might not be up-to-date since it includes Whole Foods:

Thanks. I saw that list, and was hoping it means there are other LA Whole Foods still carrying it.

They do also suggest you contact them by email or an 800# - maybe that could tell you which whole foods in your area have it...
