Resto-bars in Waterbury, CT?

Hello Chowhounders,
I have to stay in Waterbury for three nights next week and was looking for a casual but trendy restaurant/bar within walking distance of downtown. Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated...

The best combo you will probably find is going to Boru's and then across the street to La Cazuela. Boru's does have food, but it's nothing special/nothing horrible. Surprisingly, there aren't a lot of bars in that area to begin with, and most of them don't have food.
Boru's has some reviews on yelp and urbanspoon if you are interested, but it's a pretty typical bar. Mixed crowd, but favoring 20-30yr old crowd with a few old veterans mixed in here and there.

City Hall Cafe is probably your best bet, although it's not especially trendy. Good food and bar and friendly people.
