Oktoberfest - La Mesa

One of my vendors was telling me this morning about the Oktoberfest in La Mesa this Friday/Saturday/Sunday. He said it was pretty big and really good. He also said it was supposed to be something like the largest Oktoberfest in California, which I find a little difficult to believe.

Has anyone been to this Oktoberfest? Is it really pretty decent? How does it compare with Alpine Village up in the L.A. area? Thanks.
