Anything good in Palatine near the metro stop?

In town for two nights, and the first night I'm picking up a good friend at the train station. We won't have a long time for dinner, but want something good. I'm a fairly laid-back vegetarian. Thoughts? I saw mention of some good Mexican place nearby -- is it really good? Thanks!

Right across from Palatine is Durty Nellies which has quite a few vegetarian options and one of the best craft beer selections in that part of Chicagoland.
