Need a recomendation for tonight

Hi fellow chowhounders-

My husband and I are in town this weekend for a wedding. We used to live in Philly about 10 years ago and know Philly can have some great little hidden gems. Just looking for a gpod dinner spot tonight. Maybe a farm to table type place or a up and coming Chef kitchen. Something that has a good variety. I know it's last minute but just didn't have time to put in the research I usually do when we travel!! Thanks for any suggestions!

In addition to the preceding recs, a couple of others that may fit your needs would be Ela (up & comer), or you could check out Farm & Fisherman, or Talula's Garden for farm to table.

Thanks everyone! So funny after I posted, started doing some research- zahav & talula immediately sparked our interest! Also will check out Farm & Fisherman. We live in San Diego now but moved from NYC and blue hill was one of our favorites!
Thanks everyone for the quick responses!

Two places that I really like are Koo Zee Doo and Zahav.

First of all I second DaisyM's recommendations. Koo Zee Doo is a byo Portugese restaurant, and zahav is modern israeli.

Along the farm to table concept, both talulah's garden, and farm and fisherman fit that mold. Talulah's Garden is part of the starr restaurant empire and features fresh foods.

Farm and Fisherman is a project from a former chef from Blue Hill at Stone Barn, and is BYO. Small restaurant and small menu but worth it.

A.kitchen a restaurant from Brian Skiora formerly of Django and Talulahs Table is doing some very creative stuff around the Rittenhouse Square area. Small plate restaurant with nice variety. Full bar.

Lastly, Ela, a restaurant from Jason Ciconski is also doing creative small plates with a modern flare in Queens Village off of South Street. One of his signature dishes is a noodle made out of diver scallops. Very fun restaurant.

Russet on Spruce St is also good farm to table. The menu changes daily I think, but it's not very large.
