Both are generally seen as the best food cities in the States. Never been to either myself. Which do you think is the better food city?
It depends. (Just remember, NYC covers more than Manhattan, and not just the lower half of Manhattan Island.)
By NYC, I mean all five boroughs.
So then, the "it depends" part: Do you mean for dining out or cooking in? How severely locavore is your standard, if at all? How much is "better" correlated to "more options"?
"Better" is meaningless; it needs specific component standards.
