Yogurt update
I'm still bummed about the lack of Dannon Yogurt for Passover, but I just purchased Friendship Plain lowfat yogurt. It is KLP with a "P" on the dating code on the lid. I had to call their consumer helpline to find this out (no info on website). The dates on the containers (32 oz) were 4/9 and 4/23. Not the same as Dannon, but I plan to sweeten it myself and add in fruit/fruit sauce. Much cheaper than the uber kosher yogurts ($3.29 for 32 oz versus $1.89 for 6 or 7 oz). Hope this help all my chowhound buds!

Just bought La Yougurt w/fruit on the bottom. 2/$1 from Brachs can't do better than that!

For what it's worth, I just saw in a local ad that ShopRite fruit-on-the-bottom yogurts are KLP. I haven't seen them in person, but maybe this can help someone.

re: hbg1
Shoprite in Paramus had strawberry, cherry, and blueberry KLP yogurt yesterday. It was not with the regular yogurt. I was looking for peach and the dairy manager said it was a misprint in the "book" (I assume he is talking about the O-U book). He said it should have said plain, not peach. Also a friend said she found America's Choice which is the house brand for Waldbaums, Pathmark, and A&P. Hope this helps.
