Recommendations Please!!

We're travelling to NYC this weekend, I am in need of a restaurant recommendation: specifically, American cousine, moderately priced, causal atmosphere, good portions.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

    Holy buckets, that is broad. Can you be a bit more specific? Neighborhoods? What does moderately priced mean to you?
