Good Breakfast places in Mississauga
For some time now I have been looking for a good breakfast place. I've been to Peters on Eglinton, PB, Sunset Grill and Tutti Fruti. If anyone knows a good place I'd appreciate it if you would share it with me. Thanks!

Having lived in Mississauga for the past 20 years the best places in my humble opinion are as follows.
Mingos - Lakeshore Road north side between Cawthra and Dixie
Village Bakery - Lakeshore road, south side between Cawthra and Hwy 10 - they have a hot table that is very good.
Helen's Fish and Chips - Lakeshore Road, south side by the light house
All provide a great breakfast however my favourite is Mingos

Another very good spot is Marish's Boulangerie in Port Credit, north side of Lakeshore W. Not only is it a very good bakery, but they do full sit down breakfast as well. I've had the Eggs Benny there. Very good! And the second best part -the place is never busy on weekend.

Just had breakfast for the first time at Daylight Grille at Southdown and Lakeshore Rd. Family owned. Very friendly service with free tea and coffee refills. It's in a strip plaza and we sat at the window overlooking the parking lot, however we could not stop saying how we felt like we were out of the city and on vacation. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. The waitresses knew some by name, say hello as soon as you walk in and are always smiling.
I had the smoked salmon (new, not yet on men) eggs Benedict which was really good, however the hollandaise sauce was a little light on flavour. Hubby had eggs florentine Benedict which he also says was very good. Lots of spinach. English muffins toasted perfectly. Came with well seasoned home fries. They were tasty, although we do prefer ours a little more crispy.
I don't eat out breakfast much, although when I do, I'll be back here for sure. Want to try the $11.99 8oz steak.
Open 6am-3pm, serve breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, beer and wine. Prices are very reasonable. We spent $30 for two eggs Benny, side of corned beef hash, coffee and tea.›3 Replies -

Bobby's Hideaway is awesome.
I would also suggest The Grille

The Grille is east of East Mall on the north side of Queensway. Service is ok, the food quality varies, but it's usually acceptable considering they are open 24 x 7.
I've only had their early morning value breakfasts and particularly like the thermos of coffee they bring you. Too few Canadian restaurants realize how much customers appreciate that low-cost convenience and how it seems to improve service.
Bistro Narra on Winston Churchill at Thomas has a superior weekend brunch service from 0930 at very competitive prices considering their food quality. Fresh fruit garnishes come on most of the plates and you'd pay 50% more at Cora's for something similar of lesser quality.
