Price of lamb in DC

I've noticed the last few times I've gone to purchase lamb that the prices seem to have gone through the roof! Anyone else noticed the same thing?

I just ordered a boneless leg of lamb through Canales Meat Market (eastern market) and it is $12.99/lb. Even the bone-in was $11.99/lb. Just wondering if I was alone here...

Seems pretty early in the spring for lamb, so that might be why.
