We live in JP and want to meet our friends from Brimfield somewhere in the middle'ish.
Only thing not considered is Chinese (or anything with MSG). Only requirement is that it must be good food thx

Had a very good buffet brunch at the Beechwood Hotel in Worcester and excellent menu btunches at Armsby Abby and also at Bullfinces in Sudbury. Not sure what Allora in Marlboro does at brunchtime, but their food is very good. GReat patio, too.

Not sure how far west you want, but Natick is a great area to meet somewhere in the middle (closer to you than them). We had a fantastic brunch recently at Sel De La Terre which has a more elegant atmosphere (but you don't have to dress up fancy for brunch, they also have multiple seating areas). Try the burger & fries there (near perfection), and apple cider beignets (for dessert) were excellent. I also have enjoyed Zaftigs which can get very busy, they have a killer stuffed french toast and a good reuben sandwich.

Zaftigs has a location other than Brookline?

        You're right -
I just checked - I had no idea there was one in Natick. It's not my favorite place, but it might fit the bill.

yes, they're in Natick, where Joan and Ed's was. Still quite far from Brimfield.
