HELP!!!!! Desparately in need of 'Saturday Lunch' recommendation!!
Dear fellow NYC chowhounders....etc! HELP!!!!!
Totally messed up my 'eating itinerary' for my late April visit to NYC!! :(
Reason?!! I only found out both EMP and Marea do not do Saturday lunches! As such, I have to move them to dinner spots, leaving one Saturday lunch without a venue!! I checked out the brunch menu for ABC kitchen and was not that impressed!
Any Michelin star establishment ( or non-star ) serving a great ' SATURDAY' lunch you can recommend?!
So far, my secured list include Casa Mono, Marea, EMP and Tori Shin.
Thanks in advance!!!

I highly recommend Bouley for Saturday lunch. Bouley has long been a favorite restaurant for dinner, and while I've not had lunch at Bouley, uhockey posted a wonderful report about his Saturday lunch at Bouley last year. The price is now $55 for a multi-course tasting menu with choices for each course.

I literally just put up a review for The NoMad. It has some dishes from the EMP menu and is so new I don't think you would have a problem getting a reservation there for lunch in April.
Otherwise I suggest checking out the 3 course prix fix at Toqueville. It's wonderful food in serene, upscale atmosphere. It really can't be beat for a Saturdary lunch. Enjoy!

re: Charles Yu
For The Modern Bar Room, some of my favorite dishes are Alsatian Country Soup, Roasted Duck Breast, Spice-Dusted Squab, Beignets, and Coffee Caramel Dome (*not* the pistachio dome, I didn't like the pistachio version of this dessert).
