Bosnian restaurant in Astoria!

I've recently been in Clatsop, County, Oregon, savoring all the local seafood. In between the clams, crab, oysters, salmon and sturgeon, I chanced upon Drina Daisy, a Bosnian restaurant on Commercial in Astoria. Although it has been there a few years, I had never heard of it. This is an unusual thing to find at the coast — a restaurant with authentic old world charm and a cuisine I would not be surprised to find in Portland, but which I have never encountered in any city, anywhere. This was the culinary highlight of my visit, although not the seafood I was primarily seeking.

Their lamb is amazing. And as syrahgirl implied - the baklava is darned good too.

We love the Stuffed Cabbage Rolls at Drina Daisy and their Sopska! :)

Glad you enjoyed Drina Daisy! It's one of our favorites in Astoria. Did you have the bakalava? :)

No, but I'll be back. Baklava is pretty common, though, and readily available almost everywhere.
