My only time at Beast was for brunch a few years ago. It was delicious food-wise, but a very rich and substantial meal for morning...not everyone can do that. And there are no options for folks that just want a bite and some coffee, you have to do the whole multi-course thing just like you do at dinner - no substitutions.
It is also pretty expensive for breakfast - $35 for 4 courses (an extra $20pp for wine pairings) - making it more of a special occasion place for most. And I find that odd because it is also a communal seating arrangement - I don't necessarily want to share my special occasion with a bunch of strangers at 10am.
The food gets a solid 9 on a scale of 1-10 for brunch food, but those other factors (cost, communal seating, 4-course meal early in the day) haven't had me running back there. I do want to go for dinner, though, just haven't gotten around to it...
