was hoping for a semi-acceptable alternative to my favorite brach's fiesta eggs.

saw these at tj's checkout line…all natural...real milk chocolate.

Are there malt balls that aren't "too sweet"?

Yeah, they're a bit too sweet, but I consider it an acceptable tradeoff, to avoid the crap ingredients that are in the Brach's and Whoppers products.

We also really like their peanut butter eggs this time of year. In this instance, less sweet than their Reese's counterparts, and the PB filling is, well, more peanut butter-y.

So was I, at least in comparison to the TJ product. I just assumed that the Brach's Fiesta eggs contain the same crummy ingredients as Whoppers, etc. Am I wrong, or am I missing something? if you were referring to the PB eggs I mentioned, then yes, thread drift -- sorry.

as to your point, whoppers do stink, but the brach's use real chocolate.
