Dim Sum at Emperor or Casa Victoria? Dim Sum or lunch at Casa Victoria?

At least 15 of us are going out for dim sum or lunch at 11am or 11:30am on a Saturday and I'm the one who's asked to pick a venue. I've had dinner, but not dim sum at Emperor. I've never been to Casa Victoria. And I always want to try something and somewhere now. Would you recommend dim sum at Emperor, dim sum at Casa Victoria, or lunch at Casa Victoria? Also, other than these 2 places, do you have anywhere else to recommend? Many thanks!

FYI - This time, I don't consider O'Mei, Yang's, John's BBQ, Casa Imperial, Crown Prince, Judy's Restaurant, Brilliant.

Dim Sum quality at Casa Victoria ( or Imperial ) is definitely a notch better than Emperor. However, based on current form I would like to suggest Dragon Dynasty over at Brimley and Sheppard!

Thank you both! We'll go for Casa Victoria this time, then try Emperor and Dragon Dynasty next. ;-)

If giving Emperor a try, do it on a week day. 20% off Dim Sum!

I'm a big fan of dim sum at Emperor. Suggestion - make reservations for the table of 15 and show up early. Even though you're having lunch at 11ish, it can get VERY busy on a weekend. Mind you, 11am is still kinda early for the lunch crowd, but reservations are a best bet - I once made a reservation for a table of 15 on a Sunday at 1:00, and I still had to wait 45 minutes.

Charles Yu would definitely have a good weigh-in on choosing between Casa Victoria and Emperor. The tea and service, IMO, is excellent at Emperor, and they treat non-Chinese VERY well, the servers and managers speak English, and the food is wonderful.
