Croissants in Hanover, NH / Upper Valley

I'm looking for a good croissant in the Hanover, NH area. So far I've tried Umpleby's, which as I recall had an okay flavor but was too doughy, and Dirt Cowboy, which was terrible - overly large and very bland, with a crust that wasn't at all crisp. Next on my list are King Arthur and Allechante. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

hmmmm, does Baker's Studio (in WRJ) make them? I'd give them a call before you go.

I had a Baker's Studio croissant at the Norwich Farmers' Market recently. The texture was the best so far, but nothing special - not nearly buttery and flaky enough. It was not very flavorful but did have the teeniest hint of sweetness. I probably wouldn't bother to get it again.

I also tried to get a King Arthur croissant on the way to the market but they were sold out of croissants, as well as at least half of their other pastry options.

King arthur are pretty good. Also, have you tried Stone Arch in Lebanon?
