Troy Restaurant Week just started. If you've been collecting your change for a big night out at Ocean Prime, Ruth's Chris or Capital Grille, now be your time, particularly if you are a filet mignon fan (which I'm not). http://www.troyrestaurantweek.com/res...

Hey, some proceeds go to charity. So, give some thought before beating up these usually high priced places, too much.

Reservations are suggested, according to the website.

Since Franco's Gaelic and Garlic are there Boagman will be first to the plate if BerkelyG*G doesn't beat him to it...

Just looked at the website and only three of the restaurants are giving anything to charity, so I don't feel too horrible saying that this is one sorry list of restaurants. Why anyone would eat at these places over a place like Forest Grill blows my mind.

I'm pretty disappointed in the charitable contributions thing myself. I mean, what...they can't donate $1 of the meal to a charity *of their choice*? Yike.

That being said, I still need to try Mon Jin Lau, and this may get me to do it, charitable contribution or not.
