I really like the space, but my only recent meal there was for a private party. That meal, however, was good enough to have us interested in going back before too much time passes.

Saw an ad in the TriCity with a picture of the building, fully stocked restaurant for sale (sounds like EVERYTHING included). No mention of the name of the restaurant, but that's it.

The Adriatic Restaurant has been sold to Marilyn Schlossbach and a lot of demolition is going on there. So, she seems to be doing ok.

Adriatic - used to be a 'diamond in the rough' down here. It will now be 'spiffed' up, have a new dress put on, and after initial 'fawning' and 'adoration as to what a pretty girl she is', will soon descend into a place that reminds one of 'the Dish' commercial in which 'WE GET' a grandaughter (or in this case a restaurant) that has a dog collar. Rufff, ruffff.

I really like the Adriatic.....really sorry to see it closed. Not too many of the "oldsters" left now except maybe for Jimmy's and Franks....Do any of you remember Net Lanes....good fresh seafood at a reasonable price?

Wow, that was a quick turn around. How long did she own it, all of 10 minutes? Any word on what kind of restaurant it will be? I hope they keep their free parking lot.

Marilyn had it about a week and sold the building. I read she will hold the liquor license. Johnny Mac intends to run it for the gay community.
