food shopping in Lisbon

We will be staying in an apartment on Rua do Loreto nr Praca Luis de Camoes in October. We will need to do some food shopping for practical items such as coffee, milk, breakfast cheese, etc. Is there a supermarket or other good food market in the neighborhood?

Obrigada

I am not very familiar with this area, but the answer is yes... You will be in the Chiado, slap in the centre of Lisbon, and the locals also have to eat.

Obrigada, Monchique. We chose Chiado because it was so central. We will wait to get there for more information.

      Hi,

On Rua do Loreto you have a supermarket called MiniPreço - which is a cheap brand where you will find all those things. Coming from Chiado, it will be on the left side just before the Bica Ascensor.

see the attach, hope it helps
