anyone been to clancy's?
planning a graduation dinner for our son, near tulane, and someone suggested clancy's. any ideas?
Clancy's is one of my favorite NOLA restaurants. Emeril Lagasse told me once it was his favorite restaurant in the city. It's a real neighborhood joint. You will have to find street parking and it's in a residential neighborhood. Be sure that you don't block someone's driveway. See if you can get a table downstairs. It's a lot of fun.
I love Clancy's but there are other great restaurants you may want to consider. Other Uptown restaurants: Atchafalaya, Bistro Daisy, Commander's Palace, Dick and Jenny's, Flaming Torch, La Crepe Nanu, La Petite Grocery, Lilette, Martinique, Patois and the Upperline. Congratulations on the graduation!
When I lived in New Orleans I went all the time, I love the atmosphere and the bar. The sweetbreads are divine, also their fish dishes. I highly recommend.
