Looking for great cake doughnuts in central NJ

I'm talking about the kind that have a crunchy outside and a moist, cakey inside. The kind I haven't had since I was a kid and my dad brought them home from a HoJo's in Connecticut. I would do serious damage to my WeightWatchers diet if I could find anything other than the mediocre. growing smaller by the minute, made off the premises and therefore on the way to stale Dunkin' Donuts. Help me out?
