Chinese food in lower Westchester?
Maybe a passable Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese restaurant?
Depending on your definition of lower, consider that Imperial Wok in North White Plains has a serious authentic sichuan menu. I can vouch for the dan dan noodles, water cooked beef, double cooked pork, cold or hot beef tendon and more. I would say it is all competitive with the decent Manhattan spots, with maybe a bit less variety than Queens. There is also a Taiwanese menu, but I have not explored that. There are threads on this board.
Little Kitchen in Mamaroneck gets great reviews from friends ... we keep meaning to try but haven't yet ....
