Maybe a passable Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese restaurant?

The food court in Hmart in Hartsdale has great Chinese food. Wife likes tempura soba from the Japanese place.

Takeout sashimi salmon from the fish dept. Is a favorite.

Depending on your definition of lower, consider that Imperial Wok in North White Plains has a serious authentic sichuan menu. I can vouch for the dan dan noodles, water cooked beef, double cooked pork, cold or hot beef tendon and more. I would say it is all competitive with the decent Manhattan spots, with maybe a bit less variety than Queens. There is also a Taiwanese menu, but I have not explored that. There are threads on this board.

To be fair, it has been about 2 months, but all was fine then.

I ordered from there a few weeks ago, the Sichuan food - dan dan noodles, braised beef - seemed as good as ever.
