Prime Beef dip sandwich

Where is your favorite Prime beef dip sandwich in the GTA ?

  1. They used to do a great one at McSorley's Leaside, but it's gone, same for Ted's in East York.

Only place I know of that's left is the VERY low-brow Orchid Garden at Agincourt Mall. Tacky, crappy little cafeteria-looking joint, but with a really respectable hand-carved prime-rib on a kaiser with au-jus. Old-school diner style, not Harbour 60, but a yummy sandwich when I get the urge.

Aside from that, I got nothing - I'm looking forward to hearing where others go! :-)

+1 for Orchid Garden. Killer Prime Rib sammos.

I tried Orchard Garden as well and was pleasantly surprised.

      2. I love the lunch prime rib sandwich at Canyon Creek. It comes on this soft, warm greasy bun, with dipping juice and horseradish on the side. I usually opt for mashed potatoes on the side, or the caesar salad. Their bread basket is really good too.

        1. The Library Bar at the Royal York hotel.
