Good spot to watch FC Barcelona play

Hello - My wife and I will be visiting Barcelona April 3rd through the 7th. FC Barcelona will be playing Milan in the Champions League quarter finals the day we arrive. We haven't decided if we are going to the game, or if we should watch it at a bar yet. What does everyone think, is it worth it to go to the game? Does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to watch the game if we don't end up going?

  1. I found this using the Search function. You can too.

    1. No matter what you do, it's not likely to be a great food experience so you won't find too much help here. Check the thread linked to in the other post for more on where to go. If your Spanish (or Catalan) is ok you could have a lot of fun in a bar but finding a good one could be tough and most bars will be crowded.
I'd go to the game if were you - but know that there's no beer in Camp Nou (though many will sneak it in - security isn't tight) and you'll want to pack sandwiches or snacks if you want to eat because the stands in the stadium will be down to cheese sandwiches and bags of chips by halftime. Camp Nou is a great stadium and the crowds are easy-going (no hooligans or any of that nonsense). You can get sandwiches to go in many bakeries and bars.
