Recommendations for the Harbour Diner in Hamilton?

I'll be in Hamilton in a week and am interested in what is especially good at the Harbour Diner. I've seen the menu online and it sounds like typical diner fare. I'd appreciate suggestions on what to order.

I had the Reuben last time I went and it was also really good. Pretty much anything there seems to be good, honest food.

From the regular diner menu, I'd recommend the meatloaf - it's excellent. I found the lobster mac and cheese a bit bland. The turkey dinner sandwich is a bit messy but fun to eat and the shepherd's pie is pretty good too.

I find that the daily blackboard specials are somewhat more interesting and I have been ordering from here lately. The pasta dish is usually a good choice (especially the Thai pasta when they have it) as is the killer seafood soup with the mini garlic loaf or the fish tacos.

The blackboard specials are usually updated daily on their website although they haven't been doing it this week for some reason.

Thank you for your response. I think that we will be there for lunch or dinner. I saw this diner advertized on the Food Network show "You Gotta Eat Here" and they highlighted the meatloaf and lobster mac and cheese. I was wondering if anyone had tried these specialities and how good they were or if they had any other recommendations.

I recently had the lobster mac and cheese. I found the gooey cheesy macaroni overpowered the taste of the subtle lobster. Lobster, itself seemed a bit tough. Wouldn't order it again.

I'm not the most adventurous when it comes to breakfast, so i usually get the Harbour. I've had the waffles, which were quite good. They usually have a list of interesting brunch specials in the $10 -17 range if you are in the mood for something a little more fancy.
