This was their prepacked saudage sold in stores, not the stuff sold in house. They have their own meat market on site so it's possible there's a difference but I don't know for sure.

Yeah - I realize it's probably different, and once they've found something like this, I'm one of those guys who assumes that it's a good time to go, since they're going to be extra careful, right? But, I had about 6 or 7 places on the list to look into on Saturday, and I'll use anything to whittle those down to a more manageable number... Tough luck, Southside Market...

In short, there are different sausage production lines for retail and the restaurant. Restaurant sausage was not affected. But the USDA/FSIS does not test those so how would we know?
