I know this is the wrong forum geographically, but in case some of you frequent B'ham, like me, you might be interested to know about the new Cafe Rumba in downtown .....

I know little of Peruvian foods and also know there's a dearth of them here in the Lower Mainland. There used to be Mirasol (now Toshi Sushi) on 16th/Main, another defunct place on Dunbar where the Subway is now, current El Inka in Burnaby and Mochikas in Kitsilano.

I know I'll be checking them out next time we're there.

Thanks for putting up the pointer. Chowhounds are willing to travel any distance for great chow.
