Any recommendations for eats between W 23 and W 30, over by the Hudson? New job and no knowledge of the area. I'd be willing to walk to 10th Avenue from 12th Avenue...

FYI - Went for a run at lunch time today and passed the Starrett Lehigh Building at 601 W 26th street. Rickshaw Dumpling Truck was out front. If that helps at all....

BTW - to expand on OVEST. They have THE BEST happy hour which they refer to as Aperitivo (as in Italy) Low-priced drinks w/ FREE APPETIZERS (random pizzas, veggie platter, potato salad, grilled eggplant, tomatoes & mozarella, frittata, fennel salad, even hot, simple pastas)

I'm talking good, fresh, rapidly replenished food.
