I am looking for a recommendation for nice/ interesting place that has been a 'good place' for awhile.( i.e. not a place that wasn't around 8 months ago.) Not into going to the latest place because it is the 'latest place'. Tried Scaramouche (classic) but not available, so that would be the high end example, prefer downtown....French / Italian.....we have the usual places that we go to which one can find on a list of the top 50 places to eat in the city. We are trying to think outside the box yet not so outside that our 18 year old refuses to go in, ideas?

  1. Foxley?

    1. Buca would be a great choice. Very cool space and great food. It has been around for a few years now. :-)

Agree with Buca, very dynamic downtown vibe and great food. When I was 18 going to a place like that would have dazzled me.
