Re-Heating Corned Beef N Cabbage

I cooked a Crock Pot Corned Beef with Cabbage and Vegetables. I had a family emergency and had to take off without eating. I put the whole untouched pot in my refer. I want to re-heat it today. Can I leave it in the crock pot and just use the "warm" setting for a few hours? do I need to add water? How long should I re-heat it for??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

If there is any braising liquid from the original attempt, I would use that in place of any additional water. Chicken stock make a good substitution. This is assuming you will reheat in the crockpot.. In place of the crockpot, you could reheat in any pot, saucepan, fry pan or oven vessel....on the stove or in the oven.

If the CB is Cold, I would slice , then add the liquid or vegetables and SLOWLY warm on low flame. Myself, I heat the cabbage, other vegetables and potatoes in the liquid on its own.. I then place the sliced corned beef into a colander or mesh strainer...and steam above the other items with a cover over the colander.

Can't speak for the crock pot, but I got too late a start cooking my corned beef Sunday and ago hungry before it was done. I let it cool a little and refrigerated. It should have been fully cooked, but Monday, I added some water, brought to a boil and simmered for about 30 minutes with the vegetables. It was great.
