Solo dining un-recommendations?

I've been reading the board for a couple months now, and have begun thinking of trying some of the prix fixe offerings at some of the fine dining places that have been recommended here (I'm usually a low-budget diner).

Thing is, I'll most likely be eating alone.

Are any of the fine dining establishments around town not recommended for solo diners?

Had a great meal at l'atelier joel robuchon, the only restaurant that ive dined at that didnt have a tv or view of people watching. They offer you things to read, but sitting at the bar you can watch all the chefs preparing food which was great entertainment to me.

All find dining establishments should make you feel welcome. Service should always be king at higher end establishments.

If you're worried about dining alone being awkward, try eating at the bar. I've done this at places like Sage, Guy Savoy (bubble bar), L'atelier De Joel Robuchon, American Fish, Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare, etc.
