Food Festivals/Events??

Does anyone know of any good food festivals or events coming up anytime soon in the Los angeles/Long beach Area's?

I love going to festivals fairs or anywhere they're will be food vendors to try new things, but it is so hard to keep track of all of them or even find out about all of them..

Thanks

  1. LA's own The Grilled Cheese Festival is coming up Saturday April 28th and this year it's moving to the Rose Bowl. Judging tickets are still available.

Anybody been to this? How is it?

If you are judging it's very fun. If you are not judging I would pass.

exactly what I needed to know, thanks.

The fact that it's at a huge place like the Rose Bowl sounds like a nightmare with lots of very long lines.

Previously, it was held at the LA Center Studios, and that was pretty cramped. I think spreading things out at the Rose Bowl will make it less of an ordeal. Long lines will probably depend on how many vendors they have.

      3. Here are some links I use to see what is going on... you can also do a google search for specifics.

Thanks! This is the one I was thinking of when I posted, but could not find it in my links. I will be adding it. Thanks again!

          2. Thanks for all the info but is there any you personally know of, and how they are?

I go to the Conejo Valley Days Chili Cook-off and love it. Also, there is a chili cookoff in Malibu over one of the holidays. Have been to a few others that are okay, but these are my favorite. I love chili cook offs!

            2. I've found Eye Spy LA to be good for a event 'heads up':
