"chicken tenders" - what temperature and how long

fldhkybnva Mar 20, 2012 06:44 PM

I am planning to make a salad with chicken strips for a group of 6 this weekend. Ideally, I would grill the chicken, but alas no grill in my current apartment. So, I was going to cut the breasts into chicken strips and marinate overnight in a little EVOO, garlic and Cavendar's then bake. What temperature and how long so that the tenders stay nice and juicy?

Thanks.

when i have a pound of the chicken strip tenders (boneless, skinless) i cook about 15 minutes on 375.

I make breaded baked chicken tenders in massive quanitites quite regularly as they are one of the only things my nephew will eat.

I brine them for 1 hour and then cook at 425 for about 10-12 minutes.

I prefer the higher heat. Both the brining and the higher heat will help keep them really moist.

i'll have to try that - sometimes mine dry out a bit even though they are completely submerged in marinade or other liquid.
