Palm Beach for the Weekend

My wife and I are headed to the Four Seasons in Palm Beach for the first weekend in May. Can anyone recommend some great restaurants in the area?

Palm Beach Grill is Houston's with a bar scene.. Don't understand why it is so popular. Buccan is excellent...but has become a scene. Forget the Omphoy...was mediocre even when Michelle B was there. Cafe boulud might be the best restaurant down here ..special occasion place as it is $$$$. Cafe Sapori on Southern is good Italian, interesting crowd. Mix between aged Palm Beachers and young wealthy wannabes. Cucina has decent food and a good energy

You'll want to slow down, relax, and spend your time at the beach instead of running around Lake Worth. You can get authentic deli in Brooklyn, so you don't need to cross the Intracoastal to go to TooJays for the same. The Atlantic Bar at the hotel has a great view of the ocean, as does Ocean Bistro. The atmosphere is beautiful, just relax and sit outside and take in the warm breeze off the water. "The Restaurant" gets high marks for dinner, too.

If you feel like rubbing elbows with the people of West Palm Beach, and you have a car, I'd recommend tacos al pastor at Taqueria Guerrero & Tortilleria on Dixie Highway.

Cafe Bolud is ok - I've been here a few times and each time it's passable but never overwhelming! Just had dinner at Buccan on S. County Road and it's a little gem. Great decor and vibe and wonderful food. The Burrata Salad was kille. They offer many different size plate options so you can mix and match. Great concept and a delgihtful dining experience!

Dolce - thanks for bringing my attention to Buccan - the menu looks very creative and if you have tried the food -- that sounds like a great suggestion! Can you tell me how far from the Omphoy hotel this is?

I like Tapas in Lantana and Paradiso in Lake Worth.

More info like price range, on the island only or distance you would travel for off island, and cuisine would be helpful. I only know Cafe Boulud on the island is highly reputable but have never been.
