Do you use Eat 24? If not it will probably help you: http://los-angeles.eat24hours.com/res...

Ugh! But since best is a relative term, you're probably right.

I like the Palace a lot more than Chi Dynasty

I believe The Palace is a spinoff from Chi Dynasty--the staff stayed behind at the old location when Chi Dynasty moved down the street. When it opened it seemed to be a clone of Chi Dynasty, so at least they've moved beyond that.

I don't know if there's any affiliation or not with Chi Dynasty. What do you mean by clone of Chi Dynasty though? The quality of food has always been a lot better at the Palace than it was at Chi Dynasty. I know they've tweeked the menu a couple of times but I couldn't tell you off hand what they changed. The items I usually order have always been there.

Has anyone tried their Champagne dim sum brunch?

I dunno whether I should chuckle or snort. Or both.

Wow, I.... wow. I'm at the snorting stage.

I peeked at their website and their dim sum prices, from what I can see, are a tad high. You are saving gas by not driving to SGV but still...

YES. and it was truly a sad sight. some of the dumplings were.. gasp.. COLD. I'm talking raw shrimp here. and it was just a hot mess until the end of the meal. I have them deliver on a regular basis and I almost considered never giving them business again. But, I'm happy to say the delivery is still good. just stay away from their dim sum brunch.

                Stick to Thai.
It's sad but we have no good chinese.
Some Thai places offer chinese food, like egg foo young but pretty bleak.
Point Dume delivers give them a try
