Celebrating a 45th Bday...Dinner for 6 in Manhattan or BK...for around $75 -100 pp..

Money is an issue for one of the couples so I don't want to go too crazy.

I would love to do something fun..can be super low key...just want a new experience.

We are open to all types of cuisine.

Hit me with your best ideas.

Thanks!

Too broad a question. In order to receive help of any relevance, please provide more details.

Budget - is that with drinks? Remember tax and tip.
When will this be? (some places book up fast)
"fun" "super low key" "an experience" um, huh?

Some of my current faves, without knowing any of the above:
    The Dutch
    Saxon and Parole
    The Breslin
    Junoon
    Blue Ribbon Brasserie
    Ciano
    Aldea

There are just too many restaurants in this range for us to help much, unless you give us some more guidance. You say you're open to all types of cuisine, but are there any you prefer? What do you mean by "low key"? Simple decor? And most importantly, do your prices include drinks (how many?) tax and tip?

Also, for Brooklyn recommendations, post to the Outer Boroughs board.
