Tip: Picasso's in Jacksonville, FL, Mandarin area

Well, the recommendation was to try the pizza as it is supposed to be one of the better ones in Jax. We didn't, but we got a couple of apps and entrees that we can speak highly of.

The stuffed mushrooms were among the best that we've had - nothing fancy but not watery or poorly balanced. Wifey got the eggplant parm - good sauce, nice texture to the fried eggplant. I scored the philly cheesesteak. Still has a way to go before matching a real one, but pretty good if you think about in terms of a steak sandwich with cheeses. Our daughter's chicken fingers were obviously good quality chicken that was hand breaded and fried. It says a lot that they pay that much attention to the kid's menu.

Reasonably priced and a good beer and wine selection. Recommended.
