What's your Hash recipe?

Ok, now that the corned beef is cooked and half eaten, I'm aspiring to make a hash in the morning that is akin to my local Irish b'fast joint. Their hash sticks together and has a beautiful crust on both sides. My last attempt was loose, fell apart, and was impossible to flip. I'm guessing they use a binder of some sort that I neglected, but it appears to be just corned beef, onion, a bit of bell pepper, and potato. What am I missing?

I'll be making it from scratch for the first time tomorrow, and have decided on this recipe:

A touch of cream or some broth from the boil will help tons. Also, dice it all to size. and use a nice splash of oil to fry that bad boy up. Mine's just corned beef (or duck!!) diced with onions and potatoes and that splash of liquid. DON"T WORRY YOUR HASH. Just let it cook without poking or moving it, and it will likely hold up for the flip. But do make a nice compact patty, and basically just let it cook. It'll be fine and delicious.
