First trip to St. Thomas US Virgin Islands

Anyone have any suggestions for good eats on St.Thomas? I'm on the east end of the island near Redhook.

We just got back, and had a very good meal at Coco Blue in Red Hook. I had a whole sannpoer grilled, adn it was very fresh and delicious - and a lot fo fish. Others alos were well pelased. They are very up front about what is local and what is not.
We also ate at Mim's which is about 2km away from Red Hook, and I had a great piece of grouper and a huge caesar slad (plenty for 2). The lobster was well prepared. There was a very interesting sauce with the coconut shrimp.
We aso ate a Jiggie's which is a sports bar. Food was ok and a good break, price-wise. It is right on the beacjh, as is Mim's (you park in the same lot).

Thanks, Coco Blue is on the list for tonight. We walked by it yesterday. It looks like it would be a great place.
We had a great salmon burger at a funky outdoors bar in Red Hook called Bambooz. Thatched roof, tattooed staff and good bar to hang out.

We stopped by there. didn't make it to Duffy's Love Shack, and didn't get a chance to try Taco Hell - great name. (I suppose rather than "get a chance" that should be "take a chance"

Yeah, I was willing to take the Taco Hell challenge, but it is always closed.
Did you make it over to St. John for dinner? Any "must do" food experiences?

We only had lunch on St Johns -- got a very good burger and a couple of ice-cold Presidentes at Skinny Legs in Coral Bay.

If Fish Tales is till around, give that a try. It's just down the street from Big Bambooz, next to the Ferry Terminal.
