Wedding venue ideas

Hi everyone! Just got engaged and am beginning what will hopefully be an exciting wedding planning process, if we can find a venue in our budget! I am from westchester county, my fiancée is from upstate near Albany and we currently live in Danbury ct. We are looking for a venue to accommodate around 150 guests in westchester, Putnam, duchess or Fairfield counties that is both beautiful with good food and costs only around 100 per plate. Any ideas out there? I know there are a bunch on li but it's a little far and for whatever reason everything in this area is more expensive. Please help!

Thank you everyone! I have sent inquiries to those three places. I'll let you know how it goes! If you all think of any others, please let me know =)

Dutchess Manor in Beacon, NY is a nice venue, with great views of the Hudson. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding there last September. The setting was great, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

From their website: "The 2012 package prices range from $ 95.00 per person to $ 105.00 per person plus service and sales tax. Discounts are available for most Fridays and Sundays in season, as well as almost all dates from mid-November through early-May."

I recently went to a wedding at Rolling Greens at Dutchess Golf and Country Club in Poughkeepsie which I know (good friend's daughters wedding) was within your price range. The owners of this place also own the Poughkeepsie Grand, Shadows and Pier 9. This place is beautiful, the food was very good and my friend said they were very easy to work with.

Check out Hillside Manor in Kingston, NY. About an hour south of Albany, about a half hour from Route 84 that will take you to Danbury. Excellent caterers. Their restaurant is good also.
