Lao Gui Yang Chili Sauce w. peanuts, etc

rschwim Mar 16, 2012 07:13 PM

Lao Gui Yang Chili sauce (w. peanuts, etc--there were a few different one's but this one had brightly colored contents) has been increasingly hard for me to find... Anybody know of any places that still carry it? It's pretty great...

It's the one on the left in the picture

Never having dealt with this company, this is not an endorsement, just a suggestion.

"Gam Men" would be "Jin "Men" in Mandarin. It's the big store on Canal between Mulberry and Mott. the Lao Gui Yang sauces are on the ground floor, not the basement. Last week they were out of the peanut chile sauce but had other flavors like dried shrimp, black bean, and snail. But I also love the peanut (which they call "5 shelled chile sauce" referring to the 5 kinds of nuts.). Since they have other flavors of the same brand, I feel certain that the peanUt will be back.
