Any recs on where to eat corned beef and cabbage for lunch Satuday? Will travel...

    This may lack chow cred...but I like The Safari Room on Devonshire in the SFV for their St. Pat's menu. I usually get the lamb stew, but the cb &c always smells good.

      I was also thinking the Valley......Ireland's 32 food is quite good and the chef always sits down beside you when you order! If it gets busy the kitchen is slow but the food is good. But now that you mention it, you might find me at the Safari Room.

      And if you're at Ireland may as well check out the orange over at Robin Hood, just catty corner .

      It's not a restaurant, but Magee's in Farmer's Market turns out an excellent corned beef & cabbage plate. Get some of their fresh horseradish to go with it.
