For realsies??

Just searched through the 11 pages of St. Patrick's Day recipes that Epicurious put in its special section, and there is not one for shepherd's pie??

A bunch come up in a general search of its site, but why none in the St. Patrick's Day section?

Can anyone recommend one? Please nothing exotic, because I'm in Bangkok. The only exotic ingredients I can get here don't belong in a shepherd's pie.

While I can't answer for their reasoning with absolute certainty, it's possibly because the pie varieties Cottage and Shepherd's are believed to be English and or Scottish creations.

There's no reason why you can't serve it for St Patrick's Day. You could go the extra mile and make it an 'Irish' version, braising the lamb in Guiness or stout if available in Bangkok.
