Visited the shop on carrer muntander 228 for breakfast today. The new location has more tables for eating but more importantly the Bellota is as good as ever. Besides the new location everything seemed pretty much the same as before.

I went to the Provença 85 location yesterday (Monday) at 1PM. Looks like they're closed indefinitely. The store sign was removed. Argh.
Today (Tuesday) I went to the Muntander 328 location at 1PM. Gate was closed, and then after standing around in dismay, it started to open. I got excited. Only the store was completely empty. It's for lease. The landlord was showing the place to a potential tenant. What the heck! Don't think I'll be spending anymore time searching for this allusive jamon joint. Good luck to the rest of you who continue the search.

Which address did you go to? Google gives the address as C/ Provença 85, but their web site puts them on C/ Muntaner 328. My guess is that they've moved.

re: SnackHappy
Their web site also puts them as C / Provenca 85, unfortunately. Which is where we went. Oh, well... next time...
