Where can one buy candied violets in manhattan?

i went to NY Cake on 22nd and they had one box, but was $29.99. too much!

    Candied flowers are pricey-even from online sources. I am told by someone who knows about such things that this is the case because they are fragile and difficult to ship. But they aren't that hard to make if you have a good source for the flowers--such as the greenmarket in Union Square.

    The candied petals are less expensive, and depending on your end purpose, may work well.
    I would also try Broadway Panhandler on W 8th st.

        Laduree candles are upwards of $70! Seventy. Dollars.

          Using the search engine GOOGLE, found this old post from this very site. Though from 2002, some of the places are still in business. It mentions NY Cake and Sweet Life. Worth some calls.
