chowhound visiting - great food - downtown or on rail
Hi Portland folks,
I am here for a few days for a conference at the Hilton downtown. I am looking for suggestions downtown for any meals. Love local sourcing and seafood. Please let me know what are your suggestions and price points. I hear wonderful things about chow here and would love some ideas.

Lots of great places downtown! Go to Little Bird Bistro, they have the most amazing mussells I've ever had. They also do trout really well here. Also in the downtown Portland is Departure @ The Nines. We recently spent 3 nights at The Nines and loved this place so much we took our daughter and boyfriend there when they were visiting. The food is delicious and there are views also. Urban Farmer is also wonderful @ The Nines. Pazzo for Italian, Saucebox and The Heathman are all wonderful. Let us know where you end up! :)
