Looking for Really GOOD seafood and fish restaurant on the Upper West Side

I miss Docks!!! it was on 89th and B'way the BEST seafood and fish restaurant on the West Side !!!

Any suggestions ?

I've heard good things about Mermaid Inn and Ed's Chowder House but haven't been to either one yet.

Mermaid Inn has good fish in a busy lively setting. Ed's Chowder House is a better looking restaurant with poorer quality seafood in my opinion. Atlantic Grill would be a fine choice. They have a wide variety of fish, seafood and sushi in an attractive space. Look into Ditch Plains on Columbus in the 80s or Landmarc in Time Warner building also.
