Ralaxed dinner near Euston (London)

concretekid1 Mar 13, 2012 02:46 PM

I'm travelling down to London next week, and on my through I'm meeting a friend at Euston. Is there any good (relaxed) places to eat within walking distance? Last time I was there we went to El Parador in Mornington Crescent which I thought was lovely. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

I'm not sure how long a walk it is, but Bistrot Bruno Loubet is not all that far away, and it's a very nice place for a meal. The beetroot ravioli is fantastic.

Asakusa, also near mornington cresent is very good and very reasonably priced. Ideally you should book or at least call ahead to check that they will have a table.

Went to Asakusa, thanks for the suggestion. Was amazing, best food ive had in a long time and right up my street. I'm booked in again for next time I'm in London. Thanks again!

Nooo! Please don't recommend Asakusa! To anyone! It's the best kept secret in London, and nigh becoming impossible to get a table nowadays.
