woodlot walk in

Has anyone tried to get a seat at woodlot on friday nights by walking in at around 7-8ish? I am just wondering if they have line ups or is it pretty easy to get a seat these days.

My husband and I did a walk in at Woodlot on a Wednesday night recently, around 8:00. They squeezed us in at the little counter opposite the bar, and found similar nooks for a couple other people who showed up around that time. They also keep their large communal table reservation free. So I'd say if you've already called and the reserved tables are full, go for it.

I wouldn't count on it. A group of four of us had a 10:15pm reservation for a Friday night in January, arrived early at 9:30pm hoping there was a chance to get seated, and actually got seated closer to 10:40pm.

If you try to walk in and they dont' have a seat, hey will take a mobile number and and call you when they do, so you can go have drinks somewhere else while you wait.

I wouldn't count on getting a seat by walking in. You might want to consider calling and asking them to put your name on the list to be notified of any reservation cancellations instead.
